The shoot for Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran has been moving along quickly in Chennai, with the crew recently filming a high-octane action sequence in ECR. While there hasn’t been much information released about the actor’s character in the film so far, we can now exclusively reveal that SK will play a cartoonist in the Madonne Ashwin-directed film.
A source privy to details tells us, “Sivakarthikeyan’s character joins as a cartoonist in a popular media house, where he meets Aditi Shankar, who plays a journalist. Another interesting thing is that whatever Sivakarthikeyan’s character draws at work goes on to happen in real life. ”
Mysskin, who is currently awaiting the release of Pisasu 2, is in the film, and the filmmaker actor is said to play the antagonist. Yannick Ben, a well-known stuntman, has been hired to choreograph the action sequence, which is one of the film’s highlights. Bharath Shankar composed the music for Maaveeran, which was titled Mahaveerudu in Telugu. Vidhu Ayyanna was the cinematographer.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is anticipating the release of Ayalaan, his science-fiction film. He will next collaborate with Rangoon director Rajkumar Periyasamy on a project backed by Kamal Haasan.
Recently, The Madras High Court dismissed Tag Entertainment Company’s complaint against Prince actor Sivakarthikeyan. In 2019, the entertainment company filed a petition against K.J.R. Studio and 24 A.M. for failure to return the loan amount.
According to the complaint, K.J.R. Studio and 24 A.M. took a Rs 5 crore loan for the film Hero, starring Sivakarthikeyan. According to the agreement signed between the two parties, Hero’s production houses must repay the loan amount plus interest. As a result, the parties have not returned Rs 6 crore 92 lakh and 50,000 plus interest.
