MPPSC Recruitment 2021: 138 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Madhya Pradesh will now be filled by direct recruitment under the process organized by the State Public Service Commission (MPPSC). Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Dr Rajesh Rajoura told UNI here today that recently 138 Police Station Incharges (TIs) were promoted to acting DSPs to fill 138 posts of DSPs in the state. He will continue as DSP.
Dr Rajoura said that apart from this, a proposal was sent to the commission to make 138 TIs as acting DSPs to fill 138 more posts of DSP, but the commission has expressed disagreement. Because of this, now these posts will be filled by direct recruitment.
The senior official said that there are a total of 1108 posts of DSP in the state. Of these, 276 were vacant. Out of these, 138 have been filled through Acting DSP and due to the Commission’s disagreement on the remaining 138, these posts will now be filled by direct recruitment.
